We request 2-3 business days to prepare most orders for shipment. Large-volume orders and special orders will take more time to prepare.
Shipping times start the day after a package is delivered to the carrier.
We will not re-ship an order unless there is a problem that is clearly and directly due to our error.
We will not be held liable for loss, damage or delays during shipping.
If you live nearby — in the northeast Iowa, SE Minnesota, or SW Wisconsin region — you are welcome to come to our shop to pick up your berries and save on shipping costs. We may be able to deliver if you live really close. We may be able to meet you halfway if you live further away. Please contact us to discuss the options.
If you live further away, we ship frozen berries via UPS or FedEx on Mondays or Tuesdays to reduce the chance of delivery delays. We prefer to ship frozen berries when the weather is at or below freezing. We strongly recommend you choose 2-day or Next-day delivery. We do not offer any guarantee that berries will still be frozen when they arrive at their destination.
We use USPS Priority Mail for most orders with standard shipping. Heavy packages may ship via UPS Ground if the cost is lower and a street address is provided.
Standard shipping does not guarantee a delivery date. Please allow about 3 to 7 days for delivery.
3-5 Day Shipping
We use USPS Express mail for most packages. Heavy packages may ship via UPS 3 Day if the cost is lower and a street address is provided.
UPS packages are not picked up on weekends in our small town. Orders received on Fridays will not ship via UPS until the next non-holiday business day — usually Monday.
1-2 Day Shipping
We use UPS 2 Day and UPS Next Day for our fastest shipping methods. UPS packages are not picked up on weekends in our small town. Orders received on Fridays will not ship via UPS until the next non-holiday business day — usually Monday.
Bill Your Account
We can ship via FedEx or UPS and bill the shipping charges to your account. Please provide your account number and the desired shipping method in the Special Instructions box when you check out.
We can ship via FedEx if required. FedEx does not have a drop-off location in our small town, however, so we must arrange for a courier to collect the shipment and there is typically a 1-2 delay in shipping. FedEx charges an extra fee for every box the courier picks up, and this fee will be added to the cost of your order.
Other Carriers and Cash-On-Delivery (COD)
We do not ship via other carriers. We do not ship COD.
