Our Elderberry

We grow only the American elderberry, Sambucus canadensis.

The health benefits of Canadensis berries are the same as the benefits of the European varieties, but there is no need to heat or ferment the juice of the American elderberry to make it safe for human consumption. The only real side effect of eating too many fresh berries might be a case of the ol’ “green apple two step.”

Our plants are grown using only certified organic fertilizers and plant-care products.

Our flowers and berries are hand picked and processed within hours of harvest. We strive to have the purest, cleanest and ripest fruit and flowers possible.

We harvested from our York and Nova bushes in 2019. The Bob Gordon and Ranch sections of the orchard will come into light production in 2020. We harvest both flower and berries from all varieties that are producing.
